Dohne Damons Gauteng Health confirmed that there is a Cholera outbreak in Hammanskraal in the City of Tshwane. This was after lab tests of 19 people with symptoms that they presented were confirmed as caused by Cholera. Since 15 May Jubilee Hospital recorded 95 people with symptoms of diarrhea, stomach cramps, and nausea. The hospital currently has 37 admitted Cholera cases and reported 10 deaths.
