
Fikile Mbalula promises that load-shedding will come to an end by December.
Load-shedding will be eliminated ‘decisively’ this year, according to the ANC secretary Fikile Mbalula, and will no longer exist in 2024.
Mbalula, told JJ Tabane on Power to Truth that the government, through the various department is working on a process to completely eradicate the the ongoing blackout .
Since the country heavily relies on coal-fired power plants, loadshedding has been a persistent issue for many years.

Some of the reasons given for the energy crisis gripping the country is that the aged power plants frequently need maintenance, which leads to malfunctions and unanticipated outages that lower the amount of electricity supplied to the system.
“What I know from where I’m seated, from the work that’s been done by government and ministers and so on, load-shedding before the end of the year should have been something of the past.
“I can assure you load-shedding will be reversed and will be dealt with decisively,” Mbalula said.
According to Minister Mbalula loadshedding blackouts will be over by the end of this year , 2023.
