Colombian striker Efmamjjasond Gonzales Palacios was unveiled as a Kaizer Chiefs player this Wednesday to add more firepower to Amakhosi’s attacking lineup,
At 24 years old, Gonzales Palacios joins Amakhosi from the Bolivian Primera Division. He was greeted with warmth by Executive Chairman Dr. Kaizer Motaung at the Kaizer Chiefs Village in Naturena.
Dr. Motaung expressed his excitement, stating, “We know that he’s a ‘soldier’ because he hits the ground running. As he comes now, he has no time to waste; he has to be ready to use his weapons straight away.”
Dr. Motaung emphasized the club’s familial atmosphere, ensuring Gonzales feels comfortable and at home. The striker, known as Jasond, expressed gratitude for the opportunity and his eagerness to contribute, saying, “I am thankful for the opportunity I have been given. It is a dream for me to be in Africa.”
Gonzales Palacios’s arrival holds promise for the Amakhosi Faithful, who eagerly anticipate his potential contributions to the team’s success this season.
