Popular musical duo Jazzworx & G.L. Ceejay have been found and rescued after a terrifying ordeal where they were kidnapped from their home on Sunday, 3rd August 2025.
In a public statement released today, the pair, whose real names have not been disclosed, revealed they were subjected to a “traumatic ordeal” when their home was invaded, leading to a robbery and their subsequent abduction.
“We are grateful to inform you that we were safely found and rescued early yesterday morning,” the statement read, offering thanks for the “concern, support, and prayers” they have received.
The duo is now recovering and receiving medical attention for the physical, emotional, and psychological trauma.
The musicians have asked for privacy as they begin the healing process. They have also confirmed their full cooperation with the police investigation and shared that they have a picture of one of the perpetrators, which they intend to circulate.
The statement concluded with heartfelt thanks to the rescue teams and law enforcement for their “swift action and diligent efforts,” and expressed a hope for “a future filled with peace, love, and continued dedication to our craft and our community.”
