Joining 959 Breakfast with Dineo Ranaka and Sol Phenduka for this week’s All You Need Is Laugh is renowned actor and funnyman Alfred Ntombela.
Speaking about life as a husband and a father Alfred Ntombela says he has “the craziest and happiest family.”
The Ntombelas may have their arguments but they don’t let anger linger in their home.
“I can tell you something, there is no anger in my house.
“We can be angry with each other now but when we see something on tv then it ends now.”
Responding to Sol’s question about being type cast, the actor believes sometimes it’s best to stick to what you know.
“If you have a gift that you started with, and you see that it is being loved by everyone and it’s working you have to stick to it, so in a nutshell, stick to what you know.”

During Covid, Alfred retired from acting. He says that things were “not smooth at the time.”
But luckily, for his many fans, his manager convinced him to continue sharing his gift with the world.
“Sometimes when you are facing difficulty don’t try and focus on it too much. I told myself that the industry is not closed, it is up to me.”
