Konka Soweto closes its doors!
Following President Cyril Ramaposa’s family meeting earlier this week, which placed the country on level 3, the famous Soweto hang out spot Konka has temporarily closed its doors according to COVID-19 restrictions.

With level 3 restrictions, restaurants and bars have been compelled to close their doors early due to an increase in COVID-19 cases in South Africa.
The establishment did not share when will their doors open again.
A statement on the pub’s social media channels said: “Konka Soweto as a brand and the establishment has chosen to prioritize the safety of all patrons and staff, to ensure that we play our part in fighting the pandemic”
