The president began his speech with a realization of the nation’s consciousness of the tough restrictions over the last year, and how difficult it has been for township economies and many across the country to sustain their livelihood.
The current restrictions and Alert Level 3 come not only from the effects of the harsh winter season, but also from the relaxed approach many South Africans have adopted. The increased infections in COVID-19 have not only affected many unsuspecting citizens, but have also drastically left many pained from loosing their loved ones.
The below are the new restrictions imposed by the President who has imposed Alert level 3.

Funerals have been restricted to 50 people.
