As much as Prince Kaybee admires Black Coffee for his achievements, the Fetch Your Life hitmaker, says he has no intention of ever collaborating with the Grammy award-winning artist.
The two artists who have been at loggerheads for a while, rehashed their feud after Black Coffee’s remarks about Prince Kaybee on a recent interview on Podcast and Chill.
Black Coffee said that his beef with Prince Kaybee started because the latter felt he’d made it in his career and was too full of himself.
The internationally acclaimed DJ and music producer also reiterated that he was never friends with Prince Kaybee, so there was no need to resolve any issues they have between them.
In response, Prince Kaybee said as much as he admired everything Black Coffee had achieved in life, and respected his brand, he preferred to not be associated with the Drive artist.
During an interview with Everything SA Music, Prince Kaybee shared that Black Coffee’s ill-informed opinion of him without knowing him personally is what left a bad taste in his mouth.
“Black Coffee doesn’t know me personally, as a human being before getting to the stunts that were being done on Twitter. He made a comment about my personality that he doesn’t know about, for him to represent my character like that was a bit off and I don’t think it’s worth my response.”

The businessman and avid gamer went on, “I’ve got this thing about me, apparently it’s being arrogant. I really need you to earn my respect from a very personal point. Respect and recognition are two different things. I can recognize you as the world’s number one DJ but you can’t force me to respect you.
I really love the brand, I love what he has achieved, it’s someone that has always inspired me, but as a man that has his own family and his own resources, and him being a man of his own, I don’t think I would be able to learn anything from him now or associate myself with him in any issue moving forward.
There’s also no need. We can both co-exist in our different spaces.”
