Trevor Noah has celebrated the news that he has been nominated for this year’s Grammy Award.
For his stand-up comedy album, I Wish You Could, Noah received a nomination in the best comedy album category.
In addition to expressing gratitude for his nomination, Noah, who hosted the Oscars earlier this year, acknowledged those who had supported his work.

Trevor also recently unveiled a commercial that caused some buzz on social media following rumors going around that Noah was paid R33 million by the government for it.
In a brand-new tourism campaign named “The Best of Us,” which debuted on Thursday in collaboration with the Tourism Business Council of South Africa (TBCSA), Noah tackles commonly asked questions about his native country with his distinct sense of humor. The commercial is gaining attention abroad.
