Nigerian Guinness World Record holder, chef Hilda Baci has had her record broken just months after she set a new benchmark for cooking a full 100 hours.
In May, Baci entered the World Records for reaching the 100-hour mark with just 5-minute breaks every hour, or an accumulated 1-hour break after a stretch of 12 hours.
The restaurant owner who was emotional after her milestone, was dethroned on 07 November by chef and fellow restauranteer, Alan Fisher from Ireland.
Alan who is a chef in Japan, went so far as to break two cooking records simultaneously.
This meant Alan spent over 160 hours cooking and baking back-to-back with just over a day of rest in between.
Alan claimed the longest cooking marathon by spending 119 hours and 57 minutes cooking up a storm.
Not to be outdone anytime soon, Alan took his record even furter by claiming the longest baking marathon title too, with a time of 47 hours and 21 minutes.
The previous record holder for this title was Wendy Sandner from the US with a time of 31 hours and 16 minutes.
