DJ Zinhle felt the ire of Twitter users this week after sharing an innocent tweet about feeling “exhausted”.
The drama started when the ‘Umlilo’ hitmaker revealed that she has been working a lot these days.
“Switching off my phone gives me so much peace… My phone rings so much it gives me anxiety… Been working nonstop, I’m exhausted. Anyway, take care of yourself,” she wrote.

But it seems many people could not relate to Zinhle’s post. Many Twitter users told the DJ that she should be grateful that she even has a job.
One Twitter user accused her of being a “humble bragger”.

“Some of us, we wish we had jobs while u r running away from Jobs. My phone is forever on, when I get a missed call I get anxiety because I might have missed a potential interview. So I wish I was u, I would not even sleep if I was u. But eyy some of us aren’t tht blessed like yall,” a user named Kgabo wrote.

Some people came to Zinhle’s defence.
“But her feelings are valid. She didn’t say anything about hating her work, she’s just communicating that she’s feeling anxious and she’s allowed to feel safe enough to express that she’s burnt out. Your time will come too, you’ll get your breakthrough,” one tweep wrote.
