Congratulatory messages have been pouring in for goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune and his wife Sphelele who are expecting their second baby.
He took to his Instagram post where he shared with his followers who had already been suspecting that Mrs Khune is pregnant. When he posted a picture of the two of them and their first born baby Amo on her first safari visit.

There were few comments about their pregnancy, and Itu acknowledged one of his fans who congratulated them for their pregnancy, confirming the news that he is a father to be.

The news comes as a welcome surprise following a very hard year for Itumeleng Khune, who lost his sister Mapula Khune, she was reportedly found dead in her room at their grandmother’s house in Tshing, Extension 2, North West in March.

Khune’s current contract with Chiefs will be coming to an end in June, however, he has the option to renew his contract for another year.

Reports from Soccer Laduma, state that Chiefs are looking to install his long-term successor, although Khune is still considering his future. Should he sign a contract extension, Khune is expected to hand over the No.1 spot to Brandon Petersen, the same publication reports.
