Rea Gopane has posted a short statement and video online to apologise to Bonang Matheba.
This comes after Queen B and her legal team pressed Gopane for a public apology, and a whooping R500,000 in damage costs after he accused her of introducing AKA to using cocaine.

Bonang responded to his first apology and retraction letter and said: “That’s it? LOL! Let’s rock… <3”.
It’s clear Bonang will not be backing down and her damages claims for defamation will stand.
Bonang responded to backlash from South Africans who felt she was being a tad dramatic by going after a ‘kid’. In his video, Rea reveals that he is 22-years old.
Lol!! I’ve dealt with heads of states darling…..a 22 year old thinks this is a game?! Not on my watch. Not anymore! https://t.co/v59grnYxPH

A few hours later, Rea posted a video on all his platforms to reiterate his apology, and extended it to both Scoop Makhathini and AKA. So, it seems that all the boxes have been ticked – all that’s left now is for Rea to pay B the R500K in damages.
