Arriving in Angola on 29 December 2025 and finishing in Namibia on 27 January 2026, the tour amassed nearly 700 million YouTube views and saw Watkins reach a historic 50 million subscribers.
A major highlight was his time in South Africa, where he rang in the New Year wearing a Springbok rugby jersey.
Watkins immersed himself in local culture, from shark cage diving in Cape Town to high-stakes safaris where his encounters with lions became viral sensations.
His broadcasts across Johannesburg and Cape Town were credited with challenging global stereotypes by showcasing the country’s modern infrastructure and vibrant youth energy to an average of 40 000 live viewers.
He shared an emotional farewell of amazing adventure with a montage of his time in the different African nations.
