Durban-based rapper Musiholiq has lost his home to a fire last week and has called on anyone who wants to help him rebuild to donate something.
Ncazelo “MusiholiQ” Mtolo said thankfully no one was inside the house when the fire broke out, and shared that his family had video called him to show him the home burning down.
Musiholiq shared his home in Umlazi, KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) with his partner, 2 children, mother and sister.
As reported by City Press, the cause of the fire is unknown at this stage but the artist suspects it was an electrical fault as cellphones were charging at the time.
“They called me via video call to show me that the house was burning. At that moment, my only concern was for my three-month-old child and my son.”
The artist and his family have since moved to a place of safety as they try to rebuild their home.
Earlier this month, actress Innocent Sadiki lost her newly renovated Johannesburg home to a fire.
Innocent shared a video of her home being burned down, with firefighters in the background still trying to tame the flames around the property.
Social media users lashed out at the actress for seeking clout, and criticised her for having the time to record a video in such a desperate time.
The actress has been scrutinized with negative comments on her post, with many of the opinion that the fire was set intentionally so she can seek clout.
