
Prince Kaybee announces the end his contract with Universal Music.
Kabelo Motsamai, popularly known by his stage name, Prince Kaybee, has made it known that he has ended his relationship with Universal Music Group.
Prince Kaybee announced on Monday that he had finally left the record company with the caption “Free after 8 years” on his social media page.
The DJ and producer had openly voiced his complaints with the record label ever since joining it, alleging that he was being sabotaged.

Prince Kaybee shared a statement from the record label that said he was no longer under any contractual duties to them.
“The parties have agreed to mutually terminate the agreement with effect from April 3 2023 and UM releases you from the delivery of any further recordings in terms of the agreement.
“UM shall continue to commercially exploit the recordings, account and make payment (if due) to you in terms of the agreement. We thank you for the opportunity of working with us and we wish you every success in the future,” read the statement.
