
Russell Simmons recently celebrated Zakes Bantwini’s birthday in Bali, Indonesia.
It was an epic celebration this past weekend when Russell Simmons joined South African DJ and recording artist Zakes Bantwini’s birthday celebrations.
Zakes was celebrated during his performance at the club in Savaya Bali, a popular club in Bali, Indonesia.
Simmons stood with Bantwini behind the turntables before presenting him with a customized cake decorated with Grammy Awards after the show.
Zakes took to Instagram to share the celebrations.
“Yesterday the iconic @unclerush & my sister @swaady_martin came thru bearing a gift of appreciation, recognition & love; a toast & cake to a Grammy win! We stand on the shoulders of giants! 🇮🇩” wrote Bantwini.

Simmons is a well-known American businessman, record producer, and hip-hop mogul. He co-founded the hip-hop record company Def Jam Recordings and the apparel brands Tantris, Phat Farm, and Argyleculture.
He relocated to Bali after being accused of rape in 2017 and opened his own Luxury Health and Wellness Hotel in 2021.
After making Bali his second home after Los Angeles, California, he decided to open a new hotel and yoga meditation center.
In 2022, Simmons hosted both Zakes Bantwini and Nandi Madida at his luxury resort.
