Lerato Kganyago’s husband, Thami Ndlala, booked out the FNB Stadium to spoil his woman this past Valentine’s Day. He also booked Zonke Dikana to sing at their candlelit dinner.
The Valentine’s Day gesture set social media abuzz.
Many praised the business mogul for setting a high standard.
“Setting standards high dream it aim it and live it,” wrote Facebook user Mphoentle Kekana.
Ntando Hlengwa wrote: “Well done to the brother for spoiling his wife”.
But some people worry if Ndlala’s expensive gift would not land him in hot water with the Hawks.
Ndlala has previously been called a fraudster following allegations that he scammed retired people out of their investments. It was also reported that the Forex trader also lied about owning houses in Sandhurst and Hyde Park.
“So this is the very same husband who’s an alleged fraudster? The same husband who allegedly married her for her monies? Bo lerato ba yapisa batho maaka mahn. Jeses,” wrote Facebook user Seemole Rathlapane.
Other social media users claim that the man is living a lavish lifestyle to “clean his money”.
“The guy was cleaning his money. Remember this is a fraudster who has laundered money of pensioners. There’s an ongoing investigation in his dealings,” wrote Tee-Boss Montana Mdlalose.
“I just hope SARS doesn’t come after him. Phela those guys are anti love,” wrote Kgopotso Khumalo.
Other celebrities who were investigated by the Hawks after showing off their expensive lifestyles
In 2020, Sho Madjozi released the song ‘Di Hawks’ following the Hawks swooping on celebrities living lavish lifestyles.

The song came after the Hawks seized Kefilwe Mabote’s bae’s assets, which amounted to approximately R300-million. The assets included over 25 vehicles, including a Ferrari FF which is priced at approximately R3-million.
Somizi Mhlongo, DJ Black Coffee, Bonang Matheba, Shawn Mpisane, and Zodwa Wa Bantu have also been victims of SARS investigating them after showing off their lavish lifestyle on social media.
