The Connie Chiume Foundation to launch “Essence of South Africa” in the US
The Connie Chiume Foundation has announced that it will be introducing “Essence of South Africa.” cultural exchange program.
71 year-old Chiume is a world-renowned veteran actress and filmmaker best known for her film roles in Black Panther, Black Is King and Blessers with television, roles on Zone 14, Rhythm City, and Gomora.
She recently celebrated 46 years being in the entertainment industry and she marked her 46th year anniversary with a series of workshops around the country.

The Black Panther: Wakanda Forever star disclosed her trip plans for New Orleans, and announced the wonderful news on social media, writing:
“With the support of the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture, New Orleans Mayor’s Office, NOSACCON, ESSENCE OF SOUTH AFRICA will host its various activities at the prestigious New Orleans Jazz Museum! This cultural exchange program aims to celebrate diversity, create a sustainable platform and empower women within the arts business,” wrote Chiume
