Minister of Sport, Arts and Culture Zizi Kodwa visits the home of Connie Chiume.
Connie Chiume, a seasoned actress, received a visit from the newly appointed Minister of Sports, Arts, and Culture Zizi Kodwa on Wednesday in the late afternoon.
The Lifetime Achievement Award was recently given to the former Rhythm City and Gomora actor at the Royalty Soapie Awards, which were held on Saturday night.
She is known for her film roles in Black Panther, Black Is King and Blessers she has also appeared in Zone 14, Rhythm City, and Gomora.

Chiume, who has been an active member of the entertainment industry had previously indicated her strong interest to engage the Minister on issues concerning her sector.

Mam’Connie related how her career started off during apartheid, its advances during the democratic dispensation. While a lot has changed – Mme Connie said more needs to be done by the department on the creative sector Rights.

Connie Chiume received the Hennessy VSOP Privilège Lifetime Achievement Award at the yearly GQ Men of the Year ceremony.
