Mongezi ‘Tol Ass Mo’ Mahlangu celebrated his isangoma homecoming with a special ceremony. The comedian and his wife, Mome Mahlangu, shared pictures from the ceremony on Instagram.
Close family and friends, including Buhle Mda, were in attendance. Max-Hoba was one of the performers at the ceremony.
“I will always be loyal to my mpande it saved my life. I was close to death my wife stood by my side held my hand through my journey. I’m healed now I am Mahambahlega Koos Mahlangu. I am back in full force,” Tol Ass Mo wrote.
Mome opened up about Tol Ass Mo’s spiritual journey two weeks ago. She revealed this week that it was not easy but it was worth it.
“Breaking generational curses begins when we acknowledge who we are – not for the faint-hearted, you are chosen to carry this gift because they know your strength to heal generations … Your calling is not a conference call but your life journey …. #Mahambahleka (you make people laugh),” she wrote.
