It is often said that one is never too old to learn something new. Yesterday on The Best T in the city, Tbose asked Kaya 959 listeners to share new things they would still like to learn regardless of age.
Melusi shares, “help me please; I still want to learn how to be romantic. Whenever I try to be romantic, it goes horribly wrong.”
In her early 30s, a listener revealed what she would still love to learn new things. “I’m 31-years-old, and I want to learn how to play snooker. I want to learn how to cook porridge in a big pot I; it’s so difficult, but I’m getting there,” she said.
Tbose admitted that he couldn’t swim and envied his kids when he saw them swimming in his pool.
Mbali from the news team shares two main things she wants to learn.
“I want to learn two major things; I want to learn how to do my nails. My nails are like an extension of my personality, there’s so much I want sometimes, and then my nail tech can’t pull it off,” she continued.
“The other thing is to iron my clothes after I take them off the washing line. I do laundry every single week, but I don’t iron. It’s not a process for me. I want to learn how to iron immediately so that I can put my stuff away,” said Mbali.
Before her slot, Andy admitted that she could not drive and gave valid reasons why not.
“One is to drive; all my life I had to fight, I didn’t want to fight with driving, okay. Here’s the thing, I’ve always been strategic in terms of my living conditions. I’ve always lived close to work. I find a place close to where I work, so I’ve never actually had to drive anywhere,” she explained.
