When we talk about sex symbols, we talk about people widely noted for their sexual attractiveness.
This morning on The Best T in the city, Tbose asked if we still have these people.
“Do we still have sex symbols? Who is today’s Lebo Mathosa, Michael Jackson, Prince?” He asked the Kaya listeners.
Reactions from Kaya Listeners
Simphiwe says that we still have symbols today. “The minute you get to Instagram, there are countless sex symbols. You’ll see the likes of Boity, Thuli Phongolo, Khanya Mkangisa, and Buhle Samuels”, he gushed.
Zuku used to love D’Angelo. “It used to be D’Angelo, but he started gaining weight and Common, that man doesn’t age,” she said.
3Tspoons on what we look for in sex symbols
- Beauty – These people are beautiful – they walk into a room, and their beauty takes over.
- Influence – Put their face on any product, and it’ll sell like fat cakes in winter. Think Bonang, Boity, Mihlali; not only are they good at what they do, but they have a lot of influence.
- Wealth – There is nothing more attractive than wealth. These people are also well dressed, they smell good – they speak, and we listen.
