Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal is interested in signing Kylian Mbappe. According to Sky Sports, Al Hilal has made a R5 billion bid to sign the player, who has a year left on his contract. Should the deal go through, it would make it the most expensive transfer in football history.
Mbappe would earn R13 billion just to play in the Saudi Pro League for a year. This looks like a good offer for PSG. The French club announced recently that Mbappe, who refused to extend his contract with the club, was up for sale.
Kaya 959 understands that the offer was made in an official letter sent to PSG, subject to a payment schedule to be agreed on.
It is unclear if Kylian Mbappe would accept the offer, as he has previously made it clear that he wishes to play for Real Madrid. French Football Expert Jonathan Johnson told Sky Sports that this presents an interesting opportunity for the player.
“This presents an interesting opportunity for Mbappe. Certainly, in terms of problem-solving in a short-term situation with PSG. It also doesn’t put up too many barriers for him in regards to the potential timeline that he sees in terms of joining Real Madrid.”
