It has been more than a month since actor Shona Ferguson passed away and many are still struggling to come to terms with the loss.
SK Khoza took to Instagram to reveal that he still misses ‘Mr Sho’.
“In the 8 years I got to know you, I swear they were nothing short of amazing. I learnt so much from you and I am forever grateful for every single thing you did for me personally and professionally.
“Your legacy lives on Mr Ferguson, until we meet again BIG BROTHER,” he wrote.
The 35-year-old included a video of a discussion he had with Shona on Instagram Live. SK noted in the video that legends only get celebrated when they are dead.
Legends never die
Shona’s wife, Connie Ferguson, has also been sharing her grief on Instagram. Connie paid tribute to the late actor 30 days after he died.
“It’s always been said that LEGENDS NEVER DIE! Only now do I really understand that saying and appreciate the following verse in a way I haven’t really before,” she wrote.
Last week, Connie shared a video of a funny moment they shared before she had to go on set. ‘The Queen’ star jokes that she doesn’t like working on Saturdays and she needs to talk to her “boss” – who is Shona – and he needs to do something about it.
“The wife is the boss, minister home affairs, finance… she is the boss of everything,” Shona replies.
Angel, Mr Sho
Thembi Seete also remembered ‘angel, Mr Sho’ this week. She revealed that she almost gave up acting four years ago, but Shona convinced her to continue acting.
