An ANC Municipality in the Eastern Cape, Enoch Mgijima recently opened what they call a stadium worth R15 million.
Almost a month before the local government election, ANC officials are seen in their party regalia showcasing the work they have done at the Lesseyton Sports Facility for the community reportedly worth R15 million.
The images posted on the Enoch Mgijima Municipality’s Facebook page have left many on social media with suspicions as to whether the stadium was really worth the R 15 million.
The corruption infested ANC is used to inflating prices and delivering below par services to people. They’ve reduced themselves to launching toilets and taps these days. Now they’ve ”launched” a R15 Million ”stadium” in the Eastern Cape! WOW!!!! #InternetShutDown pic.twitter.com/95QqCE1CcY

Just saw that R15 million “Stadium” and all i can say is I’ll be shocked if ANC still wins the elections 😭😭 unless of course they are rigged, because the failures of the ANC are there for everyone to see. Anyone who still thinks this party can redeem itself is delusional.

Sometimes similar things of cutting a ribbon for mediocrity we see & think they are fake…. but for a municipality really to post this on Facebook using official account….it is pathetic…bringing party bakkies to campaign !!! Our people deserves better .. an RDP stadium…NO. pic.twitter.com/bHHLoMEZ7t

The municipality also shared why the stadium costs amounted to R15 million in a now deleted post. This was after sharing the images of the sports facility that caused an uproar on social media:
They did add context as to what is all included in the R15 million, but it still seems a bit too much. pic.twitter.com/RQ3LN4Uyzb

One South Africa Leader Mmusi Maimane also shared why he questioned the value of the stadium to get to that amount, sharing screenshot of the actual price of the stands on social media.
