Kaya 959 line-up 2024
From Monday 15 April, Gauteng will be raring to Siz the World with Sizwe Dhlomo from 06h00 – 09h00 on weekday mornings. Sizwe has been holding down the fort in the key morning slot for the last 11 months. Supporting Sizwe on the breakfast show will be Sol Phenduka, Mpho Maboi and Mfundo Mabalane. Siz the World promises to take listeners on a three-hour journey that will entertain, fascinate and inspire from Monday to Friday.
Kaya 959 is excited to announce the addition of radio giant, Glen Lewis, to the station line-up. A well-known and much-loved figure, Glen brings a wealth of experience that has seen him build a loyal fanbase over many years. He will pair up with the incredibly talented and popular Skhumba Hlophe on Drive 959 from 15:00 to 18:00 on weekdays, with Kgomotso Meso, Angie Khumalo and Ayanda Nyathi making up the rest of the team.

Skhumba and Thomas Msengana have been filling in on the Afternoon Drive since May 2023.
“I would like to thank Sizwe, Thomas and Skhumba for standing in on the Morning and Afternoon Drive shows respectively, as well as George Manyosi on the late-night music show. They have been excellent stand-in hosts, and I am confident that they will continue to deliver an outstanding product in their new roles,” said Kaya 959 MD, Colleen Louw.
“I am also very pleased to welcome Glen Lewis to the fold. I believe that the brilliant combination of Glen and Skhumba is going to further strengthen the Kaya 959 brand,” Louw added.
George Manyosi stays on Last Call weeknights from 22h00. While Thomas Msengana takes over the reins on weekend mornings from 06h00 to 09h00 as the station bolsters its weekend music offering, with Kgomotso Meso hosting the Saturday chart show from 09h00 to 12h00.
The rest of the Kaya 959 line-up remains unchanged.
