A body of a woman was found inside a 7-meter-long python
An Indonesian woman’s body was found in the stomach of a 7-meter-long python after being reported missing by her husband.
The victim, who has been identified as Jahrah, reportedly vanished on Sunday, October 23, after leaving for work at a rubber plantation, according to an article published by People on Wednesday, Oct. 26.
Later that evening, when Jahrah didn’t come home from work and her husband was unable to find her, he filed a missing person’s report, according to The Guardian.
The anonymous man reportedly discovered his wife’s work gear, jacket, and sandals close to the plantation.
The following morning, the python was discovered and killed beside the plantation, according to local media sources, including the news website Detik, according to Betara Jambi police Chief AKP S Harefa.
“When the security team and residents conducted a search around the rubber plantation, [we] then found a python — seven meters long. “
“It is this snake that is suspected of preying on the victim. After we caught him, we found the victim’s body in the snake’s stomach,” said Harefa
