NATJOINTS affirms that the 15th BRICS Summit will be safe and secure.
The National Joint Operational and Intelligence Structure (NATJOINTS) has expressed their confidence in South Africa’s ability to successfully host the 15th Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa (BRICS) Summit.
The BRICS nations currently account for 40% of global population, with a projected expansion as some 40 nations have shown interest in joining, either formally or informally.
South Africa will host Chinese President Xi Jinping, Brazil’s Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the BRICS summit from August 22 to 24.

Lieutenant General Tebello Mosikili, the Deputy National Commissioner responsible for Policing spoke about about all the plans that have been pun in place to ensure it is safe and secure.
“This is the second time that the country is hosting the BRICS Summit on South African shores. As with the previous summit held in the country, NATJOINTS is confident that this one too will take place in a safe and secure environment,”
“Together with the various law enforcement agencies, including the Ekurhuleni Metro Police Department (EMPD) and Johannesburg Metro Police Department (JMPD), we are executing and implementing the security plan accordingly, which will include more boots on the ground,” Mosikili said.
