A fleet of 13 luxury cars owned by South African businesswoman Shauwn “MaMkhize” Mkhize, and tied to her Royal AM Football Club, is reportedly going up for auction next week.
Among the vehicles are a Bentley Continental GTC, a BMW i7 xDrive60, a Mercedes-Benz S680 Maybach Edition 100, and the Royal AM tour bus.
The auction is linked to MaMkhize’s ongoing legal battle with the South African Revenue Service (SARS) over an estimated R40 million tax debt.
The vehicles have been listed on the Bidders Choice website and the bid will open from Friday, 27 June at 8AM and close on Wednesday, 2 July at 11AM.
“The Matter Between The Commissioner For The South African Revenue Service And Shauwn Mabongy Flora-Junior Mkhize & 22 Others,” the auction details read on the Bidders Choice website.
Interested buyers are required to pay a R50 000 registration fee and can view the cars in person in either Johannesburg or KwaZulu-Natal before making an offer.

Brief overview of MaMkhize’s recent legal battle with SARS
In November 2024, armed police and SARS officials raided multiple properties in Johannesburg and Durban belonging to MaMkhize in a bid to recoup her tax debt.
They reportedly seized luxury vehicles, over 40 firearms, including ammunition, and other assets.
By January 2025, MaMkhize confirmed that Royal AM was placed under curatorship following a preservation order obtained by SARS.
Royal AM was auctioned off in March 2025, but after the sale fell through due to non-payment, the club was officially expelled from the Premier Soccer League (PSL) on 10 April 2025.
This past weekend, MaMkhize made a rare appearance at the Basketball Africa League (BAL) finals – one of the few times she has been seen since maintaining a low profile and stepping back from social media.
