
Former Banyana Banyana player Lydia Monyepao has been named the new CEO of SAFA.
Monyepao has a background in football and a passion for both education and football.
She served as the organization’s COO.
The former Banyana Banyana player Lady Skills, as she was nicknamed throughout her playing career, was named CEO throughout a press conference arranged by SAFA President Danny Jordan on Monday in Johannesburg.
This makes her the first-ever female SAFA CEO in the history of the organization.

The 42-year-old is a graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand with a BCom in commerce, the University of KwaZulu-Natal with a BCom in commerce with honors in accounting, and Loughborough University in England with a Masters in sport management.
