According to Bloem, the accusations made against Fraser in the state capture report’s concluding section are highly serious.
“We are here to lay charges against Arthur Fraser, we have already laid the charges of corruption. This comes from the Zondo Commission’s Report, the report that was handed over to President Cyril Ramaphosa by Chief Justice Raymond Zondo. In that report, there is damning evidence and allegations against Arthur Fraser.” says Bloem
Evidence presented to the commission revealed that between 2012 and 2018 at the SSA, at least R1.5 billion was missing.
The state capture commission suggested that David Mahlobo, Fraser, and other others be looked into for alleged unlawful activities at SSA, including the millions of rands that were allegedly stolen from the organization.
