432 babies were born in Gauteng on Christmas Day.
432 babies were born in the province on Christmas Day, according to the Gauteng Department of Health.
MEC for Health and Wellness in Gauteng Nomoantu Nkomo-Ralehoko paid a visit to Germiston South’s Bertha Gxowa Hospital to welcome two pairs of twins and commemorate the birth of additional children.

On Christmas Day, the academic hospitals were a bustle of activity with stork deliveries.
Dr. George Mukhari Academic Hospital came in second with 19 birth after Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital with 42 births.

Kalafong Hospital had 16 deliveries, while Tembisa Hospital delivered 34 infants.
