Beyoncé shares country album ‘Act II: Cowboy Carter’ tracklist.
Beyoncé fans are head over heels with her upcoming her new album, “Act II: Cowboy Carter.”
The “Act II” in the title refers to the fact that the well-known singer previously disclosed that this was all a part of a three-part production.
After her 2022 album, “Revolution,” which largely featured club and dance music, the “Break My Soul” hitmaker will be paying homage to her Texan roots and embracing the country music genre for another artistic reinvention.
Beyoncé recently said on Instagram that she was inspired to research the beginnings of country music by this experience.
“It was born out of an experience that I had years ago where I did not feel welcomed… and it was very clear that I wasn’t,” she said. “But, because of that experience, I did a deeper dive into the history of Country music and studied our rich musical archive.”
“Act ii is a result of challenging myself, and taking my time to bend and blend genres together to create this body of work. I have a few surprises on the album, and have collaborated with some brilliant artists who I deeply respect”, before reassuring some of her fans with: “This ain’t a Country album. This is a “Beyoncé” album.” – Beyonce
The full tracklist feature will be revealed on Friday, but if this is the entire set list, Beyoncé’s album will be by far her longest, with 27 tracks.
