South African media personality Mbali Nkosi is stepping into a new chapter with the release of her debut EP titled Elements, dropping on 23 May 2025.
Known for her work on screen and in entertainment, Nkosi now turns her attention to music.
Taking to social media to share the news, Nkosi described Elements as “a sonic journey through the five African elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Spirit.”
Each track is designed to reflect a distinct aspect of nature and self, from grounding and flowing to igniting, drifting and transcending. “This one is really close to my heart,” she said.
Blending Afro-tech with spiritual undertones, Elements promises a deeply personal and genre-defying experience.
Nkosi collaborated with an impressive lineup of artists and producers to bring her vision to life, including Black Motion,
Buhlebendalo Mda, Rowlene, Boskasie, Spice Drums, Deepa & Woshee, and Sandile M. “It’s Afro-tech, it’s spiritual, it’s powerful and I can’t wait for you to hear it,” she added.
The EP is available for pre-order.
