Commuters are advised to expect services to resume only after a few days, if talks get underway and unions demands are met.

Demawusa Secretary General Deon Makhura says, “Metrobus management is arrogant. Metrobus says they will only talk when the strike is called off.”
Members of SAFTU and DEMAWUSA are determined to keep the ongoing strike action in place until their demands are met.
