The Siz The World team recently held a lighthearted discussion about the things that keep people away from their homes. They spoke about dynamics that lead people to opt to hit the streets rather than enjoy their homes.
Sizwe Dhlomo noted that some people would rather have everybody come to them, and then when everybody leaves, they stay at home. “The fun comes to them,” he said.
Mpho Maboi chimed in, saying that one can’t always have people in their personal space, hence sometimes you “just need to go out and then return to your space in peace.”
Sol Phenduka supported this statement, saying, “I remember the reason I used to stay with someone was that I used to go out a lot. Sometimes you just want a breather.”
