For the past few days, Jacob Zuma supporters have taken to the streets to protest against the arrest of the former president, but there have also been many acts of violence and looting.
This has resulted in several people losing their lives and hundreds of suspects being arrested.

South African celebrity Khaya Mthethwa has raised his opinion about the protests and unrest.
In a series of tweets, the award-winning artist said government must do more than just speaking.
He says leaders need to step up and go to the people on the ground.
“What is the way forward sir?????” he asked on Twitter, urging the president to provide more than just sending the military to the ground.

He argued that the president needs to do more than just send the military to the ground.

The singer asked the government to show leadership by going to the people on the ground.

The ‘Settle For Less’ hitmaker says his area has also been hit with violent attacks.
