Former South African child star Wright Ngubane is back on our television screens, having landed a new reality show on Mzansi Magic.
Ngubane will host Umkhonto Ogwaza Ekhaya, a show that delves into the complexities of forbidden romance within families. The season premiere is scheduled for Sunday, 9 February, at 19:30.
In 2023, Ngubane bagged the role of host for the reality show KuRuff – the first collaboration between Moja Love and Showmax. “KuRuff” highlights the challenges faced by individuals who are the sole breadwinners in their families.
Speaking to Kaya 959 about KuRuff, he said that it was a project close to his heart.
“This job as the host of ‘KuRuff’ is an honour which I do not take lightly. We are helping people improve their lives through real change,” said the actor.
Wright Ngubeni is a renowned South African actor best known for his role as Jonathan Motene in the popular SABC1 soap opera “Generations.”
Ngubeni’s acting career spans decades, with notable appearances in various television series and films.
