Former Generations actor Wright Ngubene dishes on his new show on Showmax, KuRuff.
The show is the first collaboration between Moja Love and Showmax. KuRuff places the spotlight on the challenges of being the sole breadwinner in your family.
Speaking to Kaya 959 about his new gig, Wright says, “This is something very close to my heart.”
He adds that it’s a privilege to be able to make a difference in the lives of ordinary South Africans.
“This job as the host of kuRuff is an honour which I do not take lightly. We are helping people improve their lives through real change,” said the actor.
Wright Ngubane has been in the entertainment industry since the age of five. He has been in multiple films and series, including the recent award-winner Kedibone.
New episodes of KuRuff will air every Monday.
Generations actor showed the door for being “difficult”
Popular Generations: The Legacy actor Musa Ngema, who plays Mazwi Moroka in the soap drama, was reportedly shown the door because of “strained relationships with fellow actors and other crew members.”
Zimoja reported that “troubles started when he was told to work on his pronunciation and stop stuttering when talking. He was offended and allegedly started having a bad attitude.”
