
Season 1 & 2 of iconic series Yizo Yizo is coming to Netflix in April.
South Africans woke up to some exciting news on April 1st, when one of the most popular streaming services announced the return of one a classic drama series that captivated the nation when it was released.
Yizo Yizo was a South African television drama series which debuted on SABC 1 in 1999 and ran for three seasons until 2004.
It is reported that over three million people watched the first episode.

Netflix shared the exciting news on social media confirming that season one will start Friday, 21 April 2023, followed by season two on Friday, 28 April 2023.

The star-studded cast of the drama series included of Meshack Mavuso (as Javas), Tshepo Ngwane (as Thabo Nonyane), Charmaine Mtinta (as Nomsa), Christopher Kubheka (as Gunman), Ernest Msibi (as Chester Serote), Ronnie Nyakale (as Papa Action) with the same role played by Zola (Bonginkosi Dlamini).
The jury is out as to weather the story is actually an Aprill fool’s joke.
