South African singer and worship leader Khaya Mthethwa has announced the release of his latest gospel project, Art & Worship II: The Encounter.
The contemporary gospel album aims to capture the atmosphere of a live worship experience, placing faith and authenticity at its core.
The project features several standout songs, including “Rivhidza Vhone”, “Covenant Keeping God” and “Simbathise”.
Through these tracks, Mthethwa explores themes of perseverance, breakthrough, and trust in God as he strives to connect with listeners within and outside of traditional church spaces.
According to Mthethwa, recording the project live was intentional. The music was created to reflect the energy and atmosphere of communal worship, allowing listeners to experience the album as more than just a performance.
Fans can also look forward to the official video release on 13 July 2026, which is expected to bring the worship experience to life visually and introduce the project to a wider audience.
Over the years, Mthethwa has established himself as one of South Africa’s most recognisable gospel artists and worship leaders. His ability to blend contemporary sounds with messages of faith has helped him connect with audiences across age groups.
The release of Art & Worship II: The Encounter Live is another milestone in his music career as he continues to use his music to inspire personal growth and spiritual renewal.
