“It’s My Dloziversary” – Mpho Wa Badimo celebrates 7 years since accepting her calling
Big Brother Mzansi 2022 champion Mpho Wa Badimo Mvundla is commemorating her seventh year as a Sangoma.
Mpho has been praised for proudly embracing and sharing her gift with her fans and followers.
In June, she welcomed her second son, who she shares with artist and reality TV star Themba “ThembaBroly” Mabaso, who she met inside the “Big Brother Mzansi” house.
Last year, Mvundla and Mabaso’s relationship came to an end, and his reality show “Themba: My Inked World” showed how it broke down.

She took to Instagram where she shared images of herself and penned a memoir of her spiritual journey.
“Today marks my seventh year anniversary edlozini and still on this journey and not even halfway. I will never exchange my gift for anything because I AM because of my gift. Ngathwasa ngimcane and I went through initiation thinking I’m doing this just [for] my family, but I didn’t realise the reasons were bigger than me,”

She also shared the complexities of her journey and how she found herself sinking into depression following her initiation.
“After I came back from initiation, I sunk into depression — angry at my ancestors for stealing my youth, trying to find myself and also heal from the abuse iphehlo brought because the journey to self-discovery is not easy. When it finally hit, I then humbled myself and accepted my gift and gave my ancestors permission to use me.” wrote Mpho Wa Badimo
In 2022 she joined Bonolo Bee-Sting on the Hive to share her journey in the Big Brother Mzansi house.
