DJ Zinhle feels people would have been happier if she didn’t have a good relationship with the father of her eldest daughter, the late Kiernan AKA Forbes.

The DJ and businesswoman made the comments on an Instagram Live when she was answering questions about both her and Kiernan’s daughter Kairo.

While some of the Umlilo hitmaker’s fans were concerned about how Kairo is handling her father’s untimely death after being brutally murdered, others felt Zinhle was insulting her husband by spending more time with her ex’s family.

“For a married woman, DJ Zinhle spends more time with her ex’s family and that’s really a slap in the face of Murdah Bongz. It’s a situation where you will always not be good enough for her no matter what you do.

She’s staying with you because you’re safe, not because she loves you.”

A Twitter user criticized DJ Zinhle for having more time for Kiernan’s family than her husband

Addressing this, Zinhle said she doesn’t understand why people are so focused on having negative and toxic relationships, instead of loving the people in their lives.

The mother of two, who is now married to Murdah Bongz, thinks people would have taken comfort if she never got along with Kiernan after they split.

“A lot of people have different opinions about situations they’ve never been in. I don’t get why South Africans are so scared about getting along.

Like, I think for a lot of South Africans, it would given them so much of comfort if Kiernan and I never got along. Why?

You guys need to get over it.”

DJ Zinhle doesn’t understand why people can’t accept that she is close to Kiernan’s family

Zinhle recently enjoyed an outing with Kiernan’s family and Nadia Nakai who was dating the slain rapper before he was gunned down.

Kairo was also present, and Zinhle and Nadia looked closer than ever in Kiernan’s absence.

Zinhle expressed that she doesn’t understand why some people would rather have hateful relationships with their baby daddy’s new girlfriend instead of just getting along.

“Some people don’t get along with their sister-in-laws, with their baby daddy’s girlfriend. Guys conflict is such a heavy burden to carry. Hating someone or being in conflict with someone is a lot of work on your emotions.”

At her son’s memorial service, Lynn Forbes said both DJ Zinhle and Nadia Nakai will always be her daughters and a part of her family.

    • regulate, in harmony with international standards, the processing of personal information by public and private bodies in a manner that gives effect to the right to privacy subject to justifiable limitations that are aimed at protecting other rights and important interests,
    1. Definitions and Interpretation

    1.1.“Personal Information” means information relating to an identifiable, living, natural person and where it is applicable, identifiable, existing juristic person, including all information as defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013. 

    1.2  Parliament assented to POPIA on 19 November 2013. The commencement date of section 1, Part A of Chapter 5, section 112 and section 113 was 11 April 2014. The commencement date of the other sections was 1 July 2020 (with the exception of section 110 and 114(4). The President of South Africa has proclaimed the POPI commencement date to be 1 July 2020.

     
    1.3. “Processing” means the creation, generation, communication, storage, destruction of personal information as more fully defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013.  

    1.4. “You” or the “user” means any person who accesses and browses this website for any purpose.
