Actor Gabriel Temudzani, affectionately known to Muvhango viewers as Chief Azwindin is bowing out of the drama after 23 years. Tumedzani joined Muvhango in the year 2000.
Tonight’s episode, 8 May 2023 will be Azwindin’s last. This follows the heart-breaking scene where viewers were left in shock after witnessing his tragic demise on Friday, May 5th, 2023.
The heart-wrenching scene depicted the chief being mercilessly gunned down by his cousin and adversary, Tenda (Portrayed by Nathaniel Ramabulana), leaving audiences reeling with emotion.
Chief Azwindinni, a much-respected leader will be set aflame in tonight’s episode by Tenda who is avenging himself for all that put him in jail. The untimely death of the chief leaves the Mukwevho clan in shock and mourning and brings along with it a wave of family drama expected to lead to chaos in the royal house.
The royal family will now be faced with the daunting task of navigating the aftermath of this tragedy, which is sure to be a challenging and emotional process.
The Chief of Thathe is set to be laid to rest later in the month of May in accordance with the Royal family customs.
“Life is a collective and it’s well lived when it’s shared,” says Gabriel Temudzani. “The Chief of Thathe shall live forever.”
