American singer and songwriter, Ariana Grande has addressed concerns about her weight loss after mass public commentary that the One Last Time hitmaker looks frail.
Taking to TikTok, the 29-year old reminded people to be kinder and gentler when talking about people’s bodies, regardless of whatever their opinion may be.
Ariana said that it’s not easy being someone who is constantly talked about, and asked people to remember that they may not know what the next person is going through.
“I just wanted to address your concerns about my body and talk a little about what it means to be a person with a body, that’s paid such close attention.
I think we should be gentler and less comfortable commenting on people’s bodies, no matter what you think you’re saying.
Whether it’s something good or well-intentioned, whatever it is, healthy or unhealthy, big, small, whatever, we should really work towards not doing that as much.”

Ariana who is married to real estate agent Dalton Gomez, told her followers that their perception of what healthy looks like may not actually be someone’s healthiest version of themselves.
“For me, the body that you’ve been comparing my current body to was the unhealthiest version of my body. I was on a lot of anti-depressants, and drinking whilst on them.
I was eating poorly and at the lowest point of my life when I looked the way you consider I was healthier, but that wasn’t my healthy.
I know I shouldn’t have to explain that but I do feel like maybe having an openness and some sort of vulnerability here will mean something good can come from it.”
