Ndlovu shared a screenshot of their conversation on her Instagram story, where Walker apologised for the post.
“Girl I just wanna say that I think you’re beautiful and your body looks great,” Walker wrote. “I don’t know who you are, but I thought it was hilarious that someone photoshopped roasted seasoned thighs on someone… lmao, that is ridiculous, I always post funny stuff, but it was nothing directed at you.”
Ndlovu responded to the apology, saying, “I didn’t take it to heart. When I saw it, I was like, ‘Haa, Summer Walker posted’.” It seems Ndlovu took the incident lightly and was more amused by the fact that Summer Walker had shared the post.
Wandi Ndlovu rose to fame following the airing of the reality TV show, This Body Works for Me, which focused on the lives of different ladies who made a living using their bodies, whether it’s through prostitution or adult dancing. Ndlovu was Mzansi’s favorite due to her ‘raw’ content.
Originally from Katlehong, in the East of Johannesburg, Ndlovu was swallowed by the city life during her first year in college at Braamfontein, Johannesburg. At the show’s confessionals, she said she knows what it feels like to have a lot of money because of men. She has since relocated to Nigeria.
After the criticism that she received from certain South Africans for resharing the picture, Walker shared a video apologising on her Instagram story, mentioning that people lack a sense of humour.
People on social media accused Walker of body shaming Wandi even though she also “lives in a glass house”.
Wandi’s surgically enhanced body has been catching strays on social media, with fans asking her to reverse it. Both Walker and Wandi have had the controversial Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgery.
Summer Walker will be in South Africa in October to headline this year’s Rocking the Daisies, set for 2-5 October in Cape Town.
