Grammy-nominated American R&B singer Summer Walker is set to headline the Rocking The Daisies music festival in October.
The festival, which is celebrating it’s 20th anniversary this year, announced the news on social media on Tuesday.

You’ve streamed the albums, cried to the lyrics, and now it’s time to experience it LIVE. This is history in the making,” the festival wrote on Instagram.
Tickets for phase 1 of the festival went live at 9AM crashing the site in the process prompting the organisers to post an Instagram story saying, “Our website is temporarily down due to heavy traffic. Back up soon.”
The 20th edition of the Rocking the Daisies Festival will take place from 2 to 5 October 2025 at Cloof Wine Estate in Cape Town.
Tickets are on sale at Quicket and range from R1449 to R1899 excluding the camping pass.
Born and raised in Atlanta, Summer kicked off her music career by teaching herself how to play guitar by watching tutorials on YouTube.
She posted videos of her cover performances on YouTube and Vine, eventually signing with local record label Love Renaissance in 2017.
Summer released her debut mixtape Last Day of Summer in 2018 and her debut studio album Over It in 2019 which peaked at number 2 on the Billboard 200 chart and eventually went triple platinum.
Her second studio album Still Over It also debuted on the Billboard 200 and went on to break the record for most streams in a single day by a female artist on Apple Music.
Summer is expected to release her third album Finally Over It this year.
