Actress Sindi Dlathu puts three designer dresses up for grabs for three deserving matriculants to win.
It’s been a tough year and a half since the COVID-19 pandemic broke out and hit the world with an endless storm of isolation, hardship and challenging the status quo of normality.
The academic year itself has been under immense pressure with the curriculum constrained due to time lost. Recently we learned that the Department of Education will be cancelling mid-year examinations for matriculants so they could use the time to get through the syllabus.
Understanding the challenges and with the hope to ease some of the stress of the important milestone for matriculants, South African actress Sindi Dlathu wants to help.
Sindi announced her initiative on her social media page Daughters of Sindi where she detailed that 3 deserving matriculants would be eligible to win one of 3 designer dresses to their matric dance this year.
The entry mechanism is simple, Sindi just wants to know why you should be one of the three lucky winners. All you have to do is send through an email address until 4 July, as simple as that.
Sindi is well-known for her impeccable red carpet looks and is a highly acclaimed South African actress and musician.
Best known for portraying Thandaza Mokoena on Muvhango, a role she has longest played from the show’s inception in 1997 until her departure in 2018.
More recently she played Lindiwe Dlamini on The River and was crowned best actress in the telenovela for the second year in a row.
