In an unexpected turn of events, the mother of the Tembisa 10 Gosiamo Sithole has broken her silence after the father of the decuplets statement that the babies don’t exist.
Sitting down with Piet Rampedi, the journalist who broke the story, Gosiamo spoke about being blindsided by the statement Tebogo Tsotetsi and his family released.
The mother claims that the Tsotetsi family are bitter and want to use the babies to make money. She refused to disclose their whereabouts until she is ready.
She denied the statement made by the family including that she and the babies are missing and explained that she had been in contact with Tsotetsi on Tuesday afternoon.

“I’m hurting. Everything they’re (Tsotetsi and his family) saying about is not true. This is all done to abuse me. They never liked me,” Goisamo can be seen explaining to Rampedi who shared the videos in a Twitter thread.

The mother of the Tembisa 10 insists that she delivered 10 babies at Steve Biko Academic Hospital and claims that Tsotetsi’s family is the reason she has laid low since giving birth.

The story started off as a feel-good one which South Africans were immediately in support of with the #NationalBabyShower trending for days and donations coming in for the family. It has since turned into an investigation into the birth of the babies, what transpired during and after their birth and their whereabouts.
